So what is the deal with the wolves tv schedule this year?

Post#1 » by Beas » Mon Oct 18, 2010 9:21 pm

Been following the twolves since the summer on this site on and off and finally decided to make an account the other day.

Anyways, I've heard some commercials something along the lines of how Cablevision will be dropping fox channels, including FoxSportsNorth and it sounds like it will affect me (I have charter). Does this mean I will not be able to see many timberwolves games this season unless I change to a different company? I know a lot of last years games were on FSN and I'm pretty excited for this year and would like to watch my wolves play.

Basically what I am asking is if anyone knows the details about this Cablevision thing that goes in affect soon, I couldn't get all the info the few times I've seen the commercial because it goes by so quick every time. Is there a website or anything that I could look at? I haven't been able to find much out myself.

Thanks

In this power struggle, I'm going to bet on FOX. Which means that Cablevision will pay up and then will be able to carry FOX again. Should happen within a week or two.

Or else, Cablevision will try to hold out, lose subscribers in droves, and get broken up in bankrupcy or taken over by a rival.

If option A doesn't happen within a month, drop em like a bad hand in poker.
