Another question...do any of us think Gortat and Pekovic could be effective on the court at the same time? I have my doubts, but thought I would throw it out there.

Vazquez is definitely better than Tolliver but he-s more suited to play the center position than the PF. He´s a very good help defender and good 1x1 defender in the post though he sometimes suffers with heavier centers and is a terrific finisher around the basket when receiving with advantage.
He´s got a good mid range shot up to 18=20 feet also. Has improved his decision making but still he´s not a great passer. His main problem in the past was his inconsistency but now i´m sure now he could be at least an important rotation player in the NBA, even in a championship caliber team like Orlando.

I-d go as far as saying that he-s a better overall player than Darko.

If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

I think Orlando isn't interested in Fran. Today, they would trade his rights for a beer packet. Any team who previously had talk with Vazquez could buy his rights easily.

But I must say I haven't read a word of Vazquez about the NBA since a lot of time.
