Re: Lunch with Ronzone
One name I haven't heard mentioned who will be interesting to follow is Al Horford. Obviously there are questions over the contract right now, so they may try to get value for him at some point. It depends on if our staff views him as a C or PF obviously, but he may be an intriguing fellow.

I mentioned Horford before, but I thought people were sure that Atlanta wasn't letting him go.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Isn't our rotation already set? I mean, if you get Oden what happens to Darko and/or Pekovic?

Pek can't play alot of minutes and Oden is almost always hurt.

So what's the point of getting him? I'm not sure I like the idea of relying on injuries and foul trouble to keep everyone happy about their minutes.

Oh, well that explains it.

How hard is it to figure out? Love/Darko/Oden would get the bulk of the minutes with Pek as the 4th big. Then Pek could step up when Oden gets injured.
eye roll

The point would be to upgrade the frontcourt. When is Oden healthy he would be the best big on the team. None of the four need to play big minutes. Love is never in good shape and the other 3 are too big to not get winded in this running offense. Some of you act like our current frontcourt is Duncan, Dirk, and Gasol.

DeAndre Jordan? Hassan Whiteside? Jerome Jordan?
Landry/Dally/Cousins/Thompson.. where does Whiteside fit?

Kings fans claim that their front office was considering Whiteside at the 5th pick. If that is correct they will want to develop him. Landry and Daly are on the last year of their contracts so there will be minutes next year. Regardless of all that Kahn could have had either him or J.Jordan at the end of the first but passed on them. I'd think he wants a better player than them otherwise he wouldn't have traded Hollins.

Strange they wouldn't take a gamble on Whiteside over Hayward if they thought an thletic center was something they needed.

Re: Lunch with Ronzone
The Hayward pick was strange for a number of reasons. The consensus seems to be we could have got him in Rd 2. And then we drafted Prestes who's not an athletic center. I was hoping we'd take the chance on Alabi myself.
