I've been thinking this lately too. Jefferson looked nicer next to Darko last year then Love has this year, he provides some kind of consistent offensive threat and is arguably a better defender then Love. He'd look sweet with Beasley and Johnson on the perimeter too.

It's ironic how much was made of Jefferson's "empty" stats last year, now that I think about it.

First, the Jefferson-Darko combo produced next to nothing when it came to wins last year. No need to fantasize about those times.

Second, praying for the return of Jonny Flynn and Martell Webster....my god. Kahn has sold us all a bill of goods. He has assembled a team of longer, more athletic, better shooting losers. If we (fans) think the team can turn the season around by adding one of the worst starting pg's of 2009 and one of Portland's scrubs....we're lying to ourselves.

You think this is a coincidence?

The Jefferson-Darko combination was also surrounded by guys like Wilkins, Pavlovic and Sessions.

This is an incredibly negative view, but to break it down we're all waiting for someone who can create for themselves (Flynn) and the team's two way 6th man (Webster) which they seem to be desperately missing.

But if you honestly think Webster was a scrub and Flynn will struggle as much as he did last year...well, let's just say I don't agree.

It sure would have been interesting to see how Al and Darko would look like with an improved shooting and athletic back court/wing play.

Domonique

We in Atlanta complain about Dominique all the time, he sucks, we know. We used to have Steve Smith but he left for a better job at NBATV. He was good too.
