What frustrates me is the way Heat fans spin the situation to affirm the genius of Pat Riley. Can't they just admit that the organization gave away a very young (likely) future all star for little to nothing? When Minnesota makes a bad move everyone jumps all over them. Sorry Heat, you let Beasley go for nothing while becoming Wade, Bron, and Bosh's bitch.
I honestly was excited to see those guys play together. Now, like most fans, I laugh every time I see them losing another game. So much for those 73-9 predictions, ha. When Indiana beats you at home, that isn't a good sign.
As a Wolves fan, all I care about is our team growing and developing. The fact is the Heat handed us an extremely talented prospect on a golden platter. Thanks Miami for helping our (hopefully) long term successful future.

@champalift, why does it frustrate you?? There was a question of what happened, and im just shedding some light. After Riley brought us Bron, Wade, Bosh, Haslem and Miller, you think im going to scream and yell that the Beasley project didnt go as planned. Look at the circumstances and you take it for what it is. Just because he is being successful in Minny doesnt mean it would of went that way here. Everything is not going to run 100%. Riley evaluated the situation and made a quick decision that was best for the team. If we didnt get Lebron James, Michael Beasley would be still on the roster.

It frustrates me because I am tired of Minnesota being thrown under the bus on everything. Can't the Heat for once? Leading into the season it was Minnesota is terrible, worst in the league, Darko was a terrible signing, Beasley is a bust, Rubio will never play for Minnesota, Love is being under used, it just gets old. That is why it is frustrating. As a wise man once said "I get no respect."
I agree, if there was a chance that the Wolves could of signed Bron I would have done anything to our roster essentially.
The Heat are saying, well Beasley is working out but that is because of the guidance of the Heat and what he learned here. Yes there is plenty of truth to that, but that is cause every 19 year old grows up and matures...
If the Heat would have handled Beasley well he would be in Miami playing with Wade and looking like a stud combo and this Big Three thing may not have come to be. The fact is the Heat weren't letting him grow on the court and Wade wanted a different team around him.
This is not saying that the Heat won't turn their situation around and be the nasty force that everyone expects, but I would love to hear from the national media a little respect for the Wolves and their handling of Beasley. What do we get instead? An ESPN insider article saying that Beasley is bound to stop scoring... That is why it is frustrating.

It is frustrating for the Wolves to constantly get thrown under the bus but respect is earned, not given. Until the Wolves start winning consistently, nothing will change. Riley has 7 rings and the Heat organization has won the championship. When you have those credentials, you get the benefit of the doubt. That's just the way it is.

I think twix is right. Beasley wouldn't get the chance in Miami that he is getting here. Good for us. Miami did what they had to do and Minnesota capitalized on it. Win-win, imo.

I agree that Beasley wouldn't have gotten the run in Miami, but that is my point. If he would have been given time to work on his game there who knows. Maybe the Heat could have saved a ton of money, only signed LeBron or Bosh and filled out a better roster than that awful thing they call a bench.
As a Minnesota fan of course I know we never get respect. We are a crappy market where it never gets above 15 degrees, or so I am told. (Ask the Twins about that)
And yes respect is earned, and that is why I have zero for the current Heat. Start winning more and then you will get my respect. I have respect for the Wolves because they have managed to pull together a solid group of young talent in an organic way that didn't involve signing any team changing free agents. They aren't there yet but when they are, I will be laughing at all those teams who thought that they could create a great team because they are in a big market (shot at the Knicks).
And yes, it is great for us. I love our squad more than I have since before KG was traded.
And hell, it is great for the Heat, they have Lebron James, Wade, and Bosh on their team. Who wouldn't be jacked about that?

I give Minny tons of credit for making the move for Beasley. They were one of the few teams that seen the great opurtunity, took advantage of it and got it done. The flack you guys get about Rubio is the bitter New York fans, do not get mad at the Heat organization. Hell Riley is the guy who gave the wolves Beasley. We deal with them every day here in Miami, we know how annoying it is first hand. Unlike the Knicks, the Wolves have a very good history at acquiring talent (Marbury, Garnet, Jefferson, Sealy, West, Love, Googs ect...), just keeping it and building on it has been the problem.

I hope your organization can build a successful team around Beasley.
