Then again he could be an ideal fit for our team if he's a ball mover rather than a ball stopper, we could use that

That's right, he's not like anybody else.

i was mostly poking fun at how often he is compared to those 2 guys.
(also yea that was part of the joke that Jkidd isn't much of a scorer and Rubio might even be worse)

I've seen this guy play a little bit and he's pretty talented. He's crafty, solid handles, good court vision, good passer, and can drive well to the hoop.
Having said that the guys stats are always very low in the ppg department. Also his jumpers broken.

I think he will be a better scorer than most think, but If I'm not mistaken he puts up like 5-6 points per game. I'm not saying that's the be all end all but it's not like he can hide behind his age anymore (he's 20) and we're looking for an instant contribution from him.

Just saying. Things could get messy.

Just continuing on what cpfsf started.

I think if he can develop a mid range game he'll be fine. His 3pt shot will come eventually, especially with our coaching staff working on his shot, but if he'll struggle to finish at the rim like some of us suspect then having a pull up jumper or a floater could make him at least a threat offensively, especially coming off screens.

after the growth of Darko and Beaz I have a lot of faith in our coaching staff. they seem to be a patient and smart bunch.
It seems like they can do anything but convince our guys to play D and pass the ball

Beasley is a willing passer and Darko is an accomplished passer.

I doubt that the Clippers would consider moving the future pick straight up for Rubio. Too much uncertainty about his contract and his jump shot at this point to consider it. Clippers are also happy with what Bledsoe has shown so far.

how about this instead: on draft day, we'll probably end up with a pick somewhere from 4-9 I'd guess, we'll give you that pick instead of you having to wait until 2012. We'll also give you Jonny Flynn. You give us the Clips' 2012 pick unprotected and Deandre Jordan.

Hey could be worse

I don't know, Steve Nash minus the shooting, but with better defense. This example comparison doesn't tell the whole story. It's easier just to say he's Ricky Rubio.
Rajon Rondo with better shooting, but worse athleticism.

I don't think the Clippers would be interested in adding Flynn with the way Bledsoe has been playing for them. He still needs to cut down on his turnovers, but he has improved a great deal since summer league and has the physical tools to be a top 10 PG. Deandre Jordan can rebound and he fits a need for the Clippers with his shot blocking so they would probably just prefer to keep him and the pick.
