Yeah, that's my understanding as well. We should probably look forward as if 12-13 is the likeliest time he comes over. I don't know when his deadline to buy himself out is, but it could very well come before there's a new labor agreement. Can't imagine he'd be too eager to shell out that coin if that's the case.
I don't really want the Wolves to make a move for long term money with their cap space. Some moves to pick up small assets, as OKC has done would be great, but using cap just to use it is more likely to end up being destructive than constructive. Maintaining salary flexibility would be much better than making a panic move because the cap is burning a hole in the FO's pocket.
