Despite many of the haters. Cousins had a solid game in Sac-towns loss yesterday.

It's too early to make any firm judgements. Cousins getting kicked out of practice as rookie doesn't make him a flop.

Don't forget Ricky Rubio.
Not sure if Rubio fits the classification, but I'm referring specifically to guys on the squad who have had questionable attitudes at some point or another in their career.

I hear ya.
One of the reasons I didn't want to draft Cousins was because Kahn would have been accused of drafting yet another player who didn't want to play here. Guys like wojnarowski would have had a field day with that one (although the coward didn't even tell us who to draft). On top of that, we would have a player who gets in fights with Rambis and I could only hope would Laimbeer and Rambis would fight back. Fortunately I don't have to worry about that. Kahn would also be criticized for bringing in guys with questionable attitudes like Beasley, Telfair, Cousins, and Darko. Love didn't have thaaaaaaaat bad of an attitude. He just whines a little bit and leaked some info on Twitter.
I don't think Rubio would be excited to join that situation.

The Cousins "not wanting to play here" wasn't an issue. He may not have worked out for us, but he would have played for us. I'm pretty sure his official reason for not working out for us is that we weren't going to draft him anyway. I think it would have a been a Steph Curry-like situation in Golden St. He didn't work out for them, they drafted him anyway, and now everyone has forgotten about it.

Re: Demarcus Cousins - Kicked out of practice
The biggest issue I had with DMC being here (and the only concern I had with the Beasley deal) is the absolute lack of any sort of veteran leadership/influence on this team. KG may not have needed to live with Sam (IIRC) and have him and Terry as mentors, but it certainly didn't hurt. There are certain things that veterans can say/do that coaches cannot, and the lifestyle changes are a huge issue as well. I still believe DMC's issues to be almost wholly confined to authority and not as severe as Beasley's were. The problem is that DMC needs to grow up and events like this are certainly not a step in that direction.
Speaking of Beasley, his growth on and off the court has been great to see and is exactly what I would have hoped for from DMC (eventually) so my disgust with the pick has been leveled downwards quite a bit.

Naz Reid.

The thing that always sticks out in my mind was him listing virtually every lottery team BUT the Wolves as his "favorite team."

No one wanted to play here. Johnson was pretty much the only exception.

nobody ever wants to play here, but some of them like Wes and Love are at least nice enough to lie about it

I thought in his interview at the combine, he talked relatively positive about Wolves. Or at least he said that there was a good chance the Wolves would draft him and he sounded not disgusted by the notion.

Koroleone Young, ain't heard that name in a LONG time.
I didn't want Cousins here at all, but this kicked out of practice thing doesn't do much but affirm to me that HERE, it just would not have been a good mix at all. I still think at some point he'll become a beast, he's just got some maturing to do, which we all knew in the first place. I just don't think it would have ended up well had he come here. I'm good with Wes.

I know Beasley sure as hell didn't want to be here as a rook. He nearly flipped out when one of his friends told him he was being drafted by us. LOL. "Minnesota? No!"

I don't think it's absurd to believe that Beasley now genuinely wants to stay in Minnesota.

Evan Turner sounded excited about the idea as well.

Cousins did? I don't remember that.

I think he was excited to play wherever, but he did say "Sorry Wolves fans" when we didn't get the 2nd pick.

Cousins just said the interview went well, and that if he was at 4, he believed they would draft him
