I wish the best for Rashad in whatever he does. I feel like the thing that hurt him the most was the loss of KG. We didn't have a team leader, and Shaddy took it upon himself to be that guy. Problem was, he tried to be THE team, and not an integral part OF the team. He tried to do far more than he was adequately able, which developed horribly bad habits, which in turn ruined his game. Actually, I think the best possible thing for him was to get away from basketball for a while. Most of his downfalls are fixable, sans his BBIQ arguably. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

The thing that strikes me about these videos how methodical he was in scoring the basketball. He didn't always seem that explosive because he was patient and took what the defense gave him. He could score in any way imaginable. As his career drew on, he quit taking what the defense gave him and started settling for contested 3's while essentially refusing to pass the ball even to open teammates. Man, he was close to being something special. Maybe he still can, but I have serious doubts. I hope he can prove me wrong.

I still remember the turnstyle defense, 1 man offensive game Reshad. Keep him away from my team. I wish him the best and hope he makes a comeback but not for us. That ship has sailed. The ONLY thing he has that our team needs is 3pt shooting, and that should get better when webster returns.

I'm with JH on this one. When his memory was still fresh last year and we were struggling mightily for wins, most on this board did NOT want him back. Now, some are looking on the bright side. Remember his foul rate? I think he had more fouls and turnovers than any other guard in the league per minutes played (not exactly sure on this, but it was really, really awful).
Another thing...I don't see him on the Texas Legends roster. Is that a typo in the original article?

He just joined the team to proclaim himself a "Legend."

I still love McCants for the way he looked when Stern turned away on draft night without shaking his hand.
But what I couldn't help but think is that all of those highlights are him taking shots without even considering the other options on the team. Lets say he was having a bad shooting night (which he had a few of in his tenure) its not like he suddenly started setting up teammates. He was a chucker. He can still probably shoot the lights out, but I don't think he makes us at all better. I would much rather give those shots to Lazar, because that kid can actually play some defense and rebound (but will never get the minutes to prove it). I am not a Wayne fan, but I do prefer the extra few inches of height on Wellington.

Corey Brewer has really put some muscles on if you watch these McCants vids. Nevertheless he's still always the skinniest guy on the floor.
