And don't get me wrong, he's a fine player and I wouldn't mind having him, I jsut don't think he's the answer to our prayers if we're looking for that athletic/shotblocking frontcourt player.

I would make this deal in a heartbeat. There's nothing to figure out with Brewer. He's super athletic, but lacks the body control and size to be anything more than a "could be" type of player. If you told me we could move him for a possible lottery pick and a little debt, I move on it. Brewer isn't a long-term option with both Webster and Johnson in front of him and I would rather have a mid-round first round pick than a deep roster guy that we won't re-sign.

Besides, if we get the pick from New York, we might be able to use it with another pick to grab next year's Paul George or Xavier Henry that fans will no doubt be clamoring for.

I make the move, thank Glen Taylor for eating some salary and look forward to the draft.

He looks athletic when you watch him. Maybe not Howard athletic but athletic.

I'd probably do it with him or the pick to be honest and I could see Houston going for it. If New York keeps up their play and makes the playoffs then that pick isn't as awesome as it looked at the start of the year and if Houston continues to suck, using a mid 1st to get under the lux makes some sense. It'd depend on the owner though.
