Pretty amusing, one of the Knicks posters is pushing hard for a straight up Flynn AR deal.

You think Hayward could be the best rebounding guard in the NBA? I'm optimistic but wow.

Yes, if you gave him 30 minutes and basically told him to go get rebounds and an undersized frontcourt allowed him so many opportunities to do so.

Well, I disagree and I think you're just being negative with Fields. Just because Amare, Turiaf and Mozgov aren't great rebounders doesn't mean Fields isn't fighting the other team for those rebounds and after watching todays game I think it's obvious it's more then just a weak front court. The guy is just a great rebounder.

I would keep Telfair until Flynn is healthy. He has been better than Ridnour.

Wait, you'd rather keep Telfair then get Walker? Walker is an athletic 2 guard, he can shoot really well, and he's not a bad defender. Not to mention Telfair historically has sucked. Plus Walker and Beasley are good pals from playing at K-State.

Well, Walker is an athletic SF. He can't shoot that well and he's not very good at defense. If everything you said about him were true he would be starting over Landry Fields. On our team he's probably the equivalent of having two Lazar's.

When Webster comes back we'll have too much of a wing glut. I'd rather have three PGs than 7 wings -- all of whom need PT too develop.

Lol What? He is the best consistent 3 point shooter on our team. Everytime he goes in for a shot, it's always automatic. His defense is not that bad either.

Williams just got more playing time over him recently.

I agree with the previous poster. Walker, IMO, is the best three point shooter on the Knicks. Better than Gallo. I would not want to trade him as he has a low cost option for next season but we need a backup PG in the worst way and Walker is out of our rotation. I would not trade AR for a late round pick. Just not worth it potential wise. I also would not trade him for Flynn, an idea laughed at by a previous poster because Flynn does not have that it factor. Bassy for Walker I would happily do. I always like Bassy and he would be good in small spurts.

If you were talking about me, I found it amusing for the opposite reason. What sane GM trades their starting pg for a back up big? I sure hope none.

I wouldnt do the Bassy Walker deal. I'd rather have a 3rd pg than a 4th-5th wing (I'm willing to suffer Brewer playing 10 minutes a game, so long as he realizes that he is there to defend and shoot open jumpers), especially since we dont know if Flynn will stay healthy.

I do not know enough about the Wolves to know who starts. I know you have a glut of PG's. As far as Walker for Bassy, I think it is a good trade for both teams but I understand your logic. Brewer is garbage. I have posted that on this board before. A good college player but inconsistent in the pros. I would rather have Walker for you guys especially because he has a cheap option next year but I can understand wanting to keep extra PG's considering Flynn's injury.

Beasley, Webster, and Wes Johnson are going to take up the bulk of the wing minutes when everyone is healthy. That leaves, what, like 5-10 minutes for the next player? At least with Brewer I know he will hustle his butt off, maybe get a steal, and play OK defense. Tonight he probably thought he had to do something offensively since he had to play so many minutes. That's a problem, because he sucks at that. Defense, hustle, and open Js, thats what I want Brewer to do, and thats fine for a 5-10 minute wing.

So I really dont see any need for another wing, and would rather keep a 3rd pg as insurance
