Thanks, I'll have to listen when I get home.

I believe he was also on the Scott VanPelt Show, and the Damn Patrick Show today. And JB Bickerstaff was on PA

I didn't hear the 2nd part that was played later in the show but the first half featured him saying he would like to stay in MN and that last season Kahn and Rambis told him during the exit interview that he wasn't working hard enough and while it pissed him off a bit it put a chip on his shoulder and made him work harder.

Also being on the World Championship team was a big part of him playing better he felt due to the confidence he picked up from it.

I liked the question about not running plays for him. Love said that he doesn't have too many plays run for him but he's ok with it. He's more of an opportunity guy who gets his shots playing out of the post, and PnR, offensive rebounds, FT attempts and feels his numbers wouldn't be much different if we were running a different offense or running more plays for him.

I liked the questions Dan Barreiro asked Love.

Love is a once in a 30 year type player...first the World Championships, then the All-Star game, maybe Playoffs next....30/30 game, 38 straight DDs, maybe will eclipse Moses Malones 44 straight DDs, shoots threes at a good rate, the guy is producing an awesome career in Sota. Just needs a scoring side kick.

I like that Love mentioned Chuck Hayes. Ive kinda excused Love's poor defense since he is neither long nor athletic. Well, not really excused, but I think that with his limitations his ceiling is an average defender. Watching Chuck Hayes last night, I was thinking, wait, why the heck can't Love defend like this? He's shorter than love, though maybe a bit more athletic, but is an excellent defender. Study this man Love!

Hayes does a really good jump of taking your legs out from under you by using his body and strength. Love could be that, but he'll still struggle with quicker guys.

Chuck Hayes is special. He plays one on one with the guards on the Rockets to improve his foot speed.

Players get invited to the "cook out". There's a link on the Houston board about it, feel free to check it out.

Shane Battier once said:

"4/5s of the planet is covered by water. The rest is covered by Chuck Hayes. We feel comfortable with Chuck on anyone."

It takes an enormous amount of drive and talent to get one of the better defenders of the league to say that about you, team mate or not.
