The Wolves look the worst they have looked all season. What is cause of this Funkl?
1. Trading away Brewer. Seems this may have created the much hated schism between coach and GM.
2. Love's all star appearance. Maybe, It made him realize, he really hates slumming in Sota.
3. Flynn's non trade. He though he was gone. The coach thought he was gone. what the ???? is he still doing here. Another item for the GM/Coach schism.
4. No go to scorer.
5. No veteran presensce/no leadership.
6. Rambis is not the coach for the job. It called situational leadership. If your team doesn't have a leader on the court. It is up to the coach to provide that leadership from the bench. Not to complain about it to the media/fans.
Seems to me the lack of any improvement in the team performance since the beginning of the year falls squarely on Mr. Rambis.
He has 1 more chance to show some improvement at the start of next season or he won't make it past the first half of the season.
Kahn is going use this offseason to build around the young pieces he has assembled. Rambis will be the first scapegoat if it is not successful early next season.
I would seriously consider letting him go this off season. Before he has a chance to screw up Rubio in his non-point guard friendly system.

Re: Post All Star Break/Trade Deadline Funk
I'm at a point where I think it can't get worse.
We need to do something now. The team is playing without any system or aggressiveness. When a young team plays like that something is wrong. Rambis has clearly lost the team IMO. In what world does a "professional" basketball team shoot 40% or under in 7 games in a row?
Only bright spot right now is that Lazar is getting some minutes finally.

Re: Post All Star Break/Trade Deadline Funk
It almost feels like this is a "fire the coach" situation...that's because short-term, it is.
Long term, it's a "make everyone suffer until it hopefully clicks" situation, which we are all forced to accept if we want to have hope for this season and next.
