You have your opinion about these those various teams and conveniently mentioning their flaws (My favorite -Portland- They have Batum, Matthews, and LMA. Nothing else.). BUT, we are comparing them to the 2010-11 Minnesota Timberwolves!!! Honestly B Calrissian, please give me a synopsis of the Wolves (just like you did for Utah, Memphis and Portland) and let’s see how we match up. Can't wait to hear what you have to say about Darko and Flynn.

If i'm swapping teams I want the best assets. I'll take Rubio, Love, Beasley, Wes, and a top 5 pick over Batum, Matthews and LMA.

Flynn really doesn't belong in the conversation since he is an after thought to many. All the players I mentioned are key players on their teams. It's not like I was criticizing Patty Mills or Rudy Fernandez.

I can see people wanting to switch with Portland but Utah and Memphis??

Wolves
Only good assets are Rubio, Love, Beasley, Wes, Top 5 pick
Darko is inconsistent and fragile mentally and physically
(This is where I would mention bad contracts, but we have none)
(This is where I would mention risky contracts, but we have none)
(This is where I would mention decent players with big contracts that have overwhelming flaws in their game, but we have none)

I love Darko, this is like his rookie season if you think about it.

I do not think our issue is talent, I think our issue is management. The coach does not seem to fit the talent or the needs of the age group. The POBO constantly minimizes what he gets for assets and appears to be flying by the seat of his pants.

Get rid of the front office and I believe the potential is still there.

Unfortunately, you honestly failed assessing the Wolves as harshly as you had with Portland, Utah, Memphis.

I was expecting something like:
Love – Difficulty creating own shot, no D, will have to pay through the nose to keep.

Beasley - a ticking time bomb mentally and what about those ankles? Clueless on D. Will have to pay through the nose to keep.

Wes – has shown an unwillingness to go to the basket thus nothing special.

Rubio – Poor outside shot. Will need a lengthy adjustment period to the league.

C’mon be honest with our assets. We have huge mother warts (bad talent (offensively and defensively), upcoming contract decisions) too. We are so far away from being in the same class as the Portlands, Utahs, and Memphis’ that as a season ticket holder it’s pathetic. We could only wish to be in their situation (youth, talent and contracts).

That really is our only hope for this franchise.

Why would you expect that? I didn't criticize any teams players that I think are worth considering as assets in a team swap. I would understand your comments if I had criticized LMA, Batum, Favors, etc but I didn't in any way. I assessed the teams the same way.

The players I criticized get big money and are either risks, have serious flaws, or just plain get paid too much for what they do. The Wolves have plenty of players with flaws but none of them make enough money for it to matter to me in a team swap.

Maybe you’re in denial, but this just in: All our best assets have flaws. Lots of flaws (see above)!!!! Maybe that would explain why we’re once again shooting for another 20 max win season as well as a fanbase that is dwindling to obscurity.

At this point, I’m not 100% optimistic that even a coaching change is the answer to maximize our player’s talents. I guess it’s the only thing to do. Again, I’d trade places with Portland, Memphis and Utah in a heartbeat.

Are you even reading my posts?

Where did I say our assets had no flaws? I said already that I didn't criticize ANY assests from ANY teams. That includes the assets from the Wolves.

Regardless of how far you take this one, you'll notice that if you look at it this way we've come along way in the last two years -- when we probably had a roster that was the worst in the league. Now we have all assets and small contracts.

So although it may suck a lot right now, the future is brighter than it used to be.
