I counted at around 4 to 5 lay ups lost... And it is better to pass to a wide open man rather than take a floater from 5 to 6 feet. There are some details that make this team loosing.

First of all you see Pekovic rolling in the first quarter. Easy buckets which can get into foul trouble his opponents. Design plays for him. Get him in positions. I felt today that he could go up to 25...

That loss sucked bad. It was a huge drawback.

Exactly. Especially the missed layups. This is one of the most frustrating losses I've seen all year. We stopped paying attention and let them back in the game when we could have buckled down and put them away. A very stupid loss.

Exactly. I don't want to suffer from a season where we're hands down the worst team in the league (record-wise of course) and then have our hearts mightily crushed when we'll end up with the 4th pick.

I laugh when I see those "Cleveland wants Irving" articles. How many Turner to Minnesota ones did we see last year?

I don't care if he did get 20-20, K-Love should be deeply embarrassed by the way he was punked by Trevor Booker in the 4th quarter. He gave up dunks to him on 3 straight possessions, twice on putbacks where Love didn't bother to block him out. If that's the way he reacts when a guy gets overly physical with him he doesn't deserve to be a leader on this team. He got caught chasing the ball off the rim instead of finding his man and putting a body on him, and it's inexcusable on the defensive end for a PF.

I thought we should have played Pek more in the 4th. He was our best offensive weapon all night. I understand that Rambis wanted to put Tolliver on Blatche because Love couldn't guard him, but I would have taken my chances with Pek, at least until he fouled out.

Any team that is seriously tanking (or fans rooting for tanking) for this craptastic draft crop needs to have their heads examined. This would be the worst year to win the lottery in about 10 years, the top 5 this year is worth 8-10 in a normal year and there isn't much of a gap between the players slotted there.

I have never rooted for tanking and it has never gotten us a damn thing. If we were the Magic, Bulls, or Thunder I might think differently.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

If Pek had been in there, Booker probably wouldn't have been able to get in to position so easily. Pulling Pek after 4 fouls was stupid.
