It would be unreasonable to expect them to compete for a title. It would be unreasonable to expect them to make the playoffs even. But it doesn't seem too much to ask for them to win 27 games. I could even get over his abysmal record in the right circumstances. If he was making decisions that I could understand. Settling on a rotation of 8 or 9 guys and playing them. Making sure that their best young guys, who they're presumably building on are always getting their minutes. Getting their most talented players the ball at the end of games. Hell, I'd even get over those things if I had any sense that they have improved as a team since the beginning of the season. Are any of those things happening? I watch his press conference after every game in which he always says the same thing, his players aren't good enough. He has a legitimate all-star. I don't believe their talent should be 20 games worse than the Houston Rockets. A coach's job is to get the most out of his talent. Kurt Rambis isn't doing that. Two years of this is enough. The guy can't coach.
Be careful man...
There are some people around here who think Rambis has done a good job and they will not allow you to rip on their golden boy like this.
