Jeeez, Lee's contract kinda puts things into perspective, silly, silly money. After doing some thinking I definitely think this ain't a bad move at all.

This is pure Shooter speculation, meaning, I take it for a grain of salt lol. On the surface, seems like a good number though.

Exactly.

The other part of Shooter's column that hasn't been discussed is this:
Love said Tuesday evening that he likes Minnesota and hopes to remain here.

But, he cautioned about his future with the Wolves, "whatever happens, happens. It's up to the front office, (president) David Kahn, the coaches and (owner) Glen Taylor. It's going to be on them."

While in Los Angeles the other day for the NBA All-Star Game, Taylor hosted a dinner for Love and his family. Taylor feels he has a good relationship with Love.

"We have to start winning, of course, and the contract has to be right," Love said. "From there, things have to work out."

I'm glad Taylor feels like they have a good relationship. That bolded part stood out to me. I think having a winning team is just as important as the money for Love. That puts some pressure on Kahn/Rambis to get the team moving in the right direction soon.

You can't even offer 6 year extentions anymore. Writer doesn't know what he's talking about.

“There has been no discussion between my agent and anybody else,” Love said. “I don’t know how that came up but there has been no discussion.”

22 year olds who average 21 and 16 while nailing 3s at 42% are max players. End of story.

It's delusional to lowball Love here and if the FO tries it they risk killing the franchise.
