One plays in the East, so it's not exactly the same.

Down by 25 and made a game of it. Not bad, but we ran out of gas at the end. A couple of guys didn't even come out in the 2nd half.

Can we bring back Ricky Buckets, we haven't had a player that dynamic since... well we had Ricky. I can't imagine France is that much better than Minnesota. I think its safe to say Webster's ceiling is Ricky Davis maybe a little lower but nowhere nearly as durable. He's only 31

Flynn and Arroyo had the same stat line - our #6 pick is the equal to a borderline NBA player.

So Tolli steps up and Randolph has a stinker? You never know what you're gonna get from this group... aside from a loss.

Was that the biggest crowd since the home opener?

Coming to see KG to doesn't count as bandwagon.

It counts if you see hundreds of Celtics jerseys in the crowd, though.

Thousands of babdwagoners is more like it. I was next to one of the bigger jerks too. My buddy and I show up looking for our seats are and we get to them and this 50 some year old guy literally says without even lower the volume of his voice, "Great, I have to sit next to these guys." I couldn't believe how rude this guy was especially when he was with his family. I wanted to confront him but he had young kids with him, so I did the classy thing and was obnoxiously loud and heckled. I couldn't believe someone could be that rude when he was with his family. It was great seeing that jerk get worried during the comeback.

Sure there were KG fans there. I wasn't talking about them. If you watched the game at all then you shouldn't even be questioning it. When Pierce hit his clutch buckets, half the stadium erupted. Are you trying to tell me those people were just KG fans?

Minnesota fans are notorious for being bandwagoners. Theres no way that that many Boston, LA, and (soon) Miami transplants live here.

Yeah, that pissed me off, too. If we somehow manage to become good again, I'm sure they'll cheer for the Wolves again. **** them.

I'm still OK with it. It's KG's team and there still playing for something. The Wolves actually benefit more from losing. So cheer for KG, Paul Pierce and the Celtics all you want, just don't cheer for the Lakers or the Heat.

I don't think there are many places in the world that aren't "notorious" for having bandwagon fans except for a handful of destinations around specific sports. Certainly MN isn't unique in this. Actually, in the US it seems it has become the trend to make sports ubiquitous, with the huge growth given to fantasy teams by the leagues. Of course it is discouraging to go to a home game and have more people cheering for the visiting team, but it's the natural fall-out of the advertising the league has adopted for the last 30 years. When you emphasize stars over teams, you undermine the whole concept of supporting a team.
