Basically sounds like Rambis is doing to Johnson what he did to Flynn, forcing him to do things he isn't comfortable with, which he struggles with, which hurts his confidence, which makes him struggle with the things he is good at, which hurts his confidence more, etc, etc, etc.

It's a tough learning curve, etc. etc. Wes talks in that Strib article about how much he's trying not to think and how it's hard not to 'cause of all the things going on out on the court. Makes sense to me. I think he has a better brain than Jonny, will hopefully be able to put it all together.

We'll know a lot more next year, both about Wes' on court ability and about Rambis' player development ability.

Re: Gordon Hayward, the Jazz asked him to do a lot less, especially early in the season. It may have to do with that than anything else. Other things equal, I think Wes will be the better player.
