We wouldn't take Irving due to an unproven guy that isn't even on the roster now maybe or maybe not coming over, but we would take Williams despite our two best players playing the positions that he plays?

How does that make any sense at all in your mind?

Huh? Kevin Love and Derek Williams don't play the same position. Williams is going to be a 3 isn't he? And you guys have that thread that says Rubio is coming next year. By draft night it seems like Kahn will know if he's really coming or not.

The #1 pick is far more valuable than the #2, because it carries tremendous media for the next six months, which translates into ticket sales.

Whether we kept it or traded it, it was not a blessing in disguise to not get that pick.

It's pretty unanimous on our board that we think Williams should be a 4 and he is far less valuable if you try to make him a 3.
