Re: Det/Min
I still think this trade is my favorite plan thus far.
It allows to take Williams with no reservations.
It solves are SG problem for the short term.
It brings in a center (Biyombo) that best compliments our PF, Love.
It moves players that are superfluous to the rest of the roster and opens up playing time for the guys we keep.
Hamilton + #8 for Flynn, Pekovic, Randolph, Tolliver

I really wouldn't mind that, although I don't like giving up Randolph right now.

I refuse to give AR up for BG. I'd rather give them Beasley over AR.

Re: Det/Min
I could probably get behind this trade, I would prefer to send someone else besides Magic Randolph though.
Also, if we did this trade would it still be possible to do say a Iggy or Bogut kind of trade?

If this could net us Alec Burks I think I'd be interested.

Gordon is not a good defender by any stretch of the imagination. He may have posted a better opponent PER this year, but historically his numbers are pretty bad. The opp 16-20 range if you go back a few years

So he couldn't have improved?

Re: Det/Min
I can't believe people are actually considering this??? AR is a guy I see coming off the bench or getting spot starts at center he will work great with Rubio and he clearly is the type of player we were looking for and the only one we have BTW. I don't see Kahn trading AR for Gordon and a pick. I also don't see us adding three to four rookies when we want vets. Gordon is on a bad contract and there is no way to sugar coat it he is a player you wouldn't think would require the amount of value that is out-going by the Wolves.

I wouldn't consider this unless one of Randolph or Tolliver is taken out.

Re: Det/Min
I just don't see how you play Randolph, Love, and Beasley together, then consider drafting Williams at #2. Something has to give.
If you replace one of those four with a legitimate center (i.e. Biyombo) then I I think you can find a way to make it work with the remaining three if you play Love at center for 6-12 minutes per game.

As much as I love him, Biyombo is not a legitimate center IMO.

Re: Det/Min
He could be, I mean...Dwight Howard measuered at about the same height, and of course BB has ridiculous length/athleticism like Howard, and then of course there's been smaller guys to play center like Ben Wallace.

You don't block shots with your head. He has above average size for a center in the NBA.

Without reading the majority of this thread, how does Detroit get your #20 pick without giving #8?
For instance, Ben Gordon or Rip for #20?

The 20 is available, but taking on Gordon or Rip is negative value.

I wouldn't give them either for BG but I will say I'm much more intrigued by AR's potential than Beasleys potential to be Melo2.0.
