only I fear chances are he ends up more like Luc Baha Moute than Wallace.

Leonard has Justin Reed written all over him.

No thanks.

Rider wasn't a good player just like Beasley isn't a good player. As for Sprewell, yeah I forgot.

Just because you don't like them doesn't mean they're bad players.

Rider was a very very good player, borderline great player. he was just a blockhead. there was a reason he kept popping up around the league no matter his past and his age.

Spre was coasting on reputation a bit on by the time we got him, but he was great player at one time... who liked to choke people and punch things, but in his defence, I'd joke PJ if he was my coach too.

So does anyone know if Rubio made the deadline to sign Tuesday?

Most likely only T-Wolves brass aka Kahn and whatnot know. It's a behind the scenes deal at this point... we won't know until it a)leaks or b)Rubio's squad wins the whole thing or loses out of playoffs

No, just because a player is talented and gifted doesn't mean they were actually any good. Rider was extremely talented, he could shoot, rebound, slash, defend, handle the ball and was very gifted athletically with length, strength, speed and a fantastic vertical game.

He was just a lazy pothead who didn't put in the work in order to maximize his talents, despite his physical advantage most nights and a shown ability to defend when he put his mind to it he was a terrible defender (at least during his time in Sota) and his offense just wasn't anything special as he gave it all back at the other end at far better efficiency then he produced his offense with.

In fact its a very similar case of what you guys are going through with Michael Beasley right now, sure the raw production looks valueable but he's also an inefficient scorer that turns the ball over more often then he gets assists and again gives it back at the other end allowing players against him to produce at far better efficiency then he puts up his numbers.

Now in fairness to Michael Beasley, he was asked by the Wolves to play out of his natural position in a system that should really only be employed by teams with wing players who have above average ball handling skills. The fact of the matter is that when they did allow him to play his natural position he played much much better basketball and really although it helped his offense more it also helped his defense too.
