^ That'd be interesting...we'd have to seriously outspend them though to make that happen, because I don't think that MEM would like Gasol go willing. That would also probably mean either letting Beasley or Love go at some point if we drafted Williams to make the salaries work under the new CBA, unless Taylor wants to pay luxury tax forever.

Rubio/Ridnour
Mayo/Johnson
Beasley/Williams/Johnson
Love/Williams/Randolph
Gasol/Randolph/Darko or Pek

that's a sexy team

I don't think the fanbase could stomach another large buy-out hostage situation. Feels like moving backwards.

Even if Jonas did agree to the buyout, I like Biyombo more than him now. I'd be happy with either though.

+1, except I'd rather take Kanter if we don't move down.

I like Bogut on the Wolves more than either of those guys. Here's why:

If we can trade down with the team that select Biyombo would be great. If they are adressing a 4-5 in biyombo would be more easy if we are trading kanter than williams. So, select Kanter with 2, wait to some team select bismack and trade with them. We should take another value who can cover the risk, if this dont happend, we keep Kanter.
Brooks would be a steal at that point.

That's how I've been feeling. It's so easy picturing Valanciunas finishing those over the shoulder lobs Ricky likes to throw. He's got that Pau-like ability to play at or above the rim without really leaving his feet, along with nice touch around the basket and he's more than willing to mix it up in the paint.
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''
