No, Reddick is better regardless of where either of them are playing. But that doesn't necessarily make him a good player overall.

Reddick is obviously the better shooter, but he's probably not as athletic or fast as Wayne. I'd take Redick only in that he just seems to intangibles that Wayne doesn't, he's got grit.

Let's just acquire another first rounder and draft Jimmer.

JJ's only got an inch on Jimmer in standing reach, and the Stormin' Mormon actually has a longer wingspan.
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''

The other JJ is 5 inches shorter and performing better than Redick.

I see Jimmer being a combo guard who can sometimes play the 2. If we want someone who can score from anywhere I think Jimmer is that guy.

Not to mention help sell some tickets.

wasn't being sarcastic, I'd love to have the Jimmer, its just Redick has enough size to be a 2.

Oh sorry about that lol. There are just a lot of people hating on Jimmer and I don't see why. The guy can score, and seems to have the desire that a lot of players dont have.

I'd love to be wrong about Beasley, youngguns, I just don't think he's going to fulfill his considerable potential. When I watch him play it seems like he doesn't understand team basketball (i.e. the importance of defense, fundamentals, teamwork, etc.) He takes the team out of it's offense and is indifferent at best on defense.

He's a lovable goofball who might get it and become the 1st option scorer this team needs between Love and Rubio. But he's a long, long way away. Miami let him go (and replaced him with Mike Miller, a less talented but more fundamentally sound player) for a reason.

I think you're being a little harsh. He got better as an overall team player and, honestly, him being selfish was kind of expected. That's how everyone starts off when they're anointed a team's primary scoring option; they literally think they have to be taking every shot.

As for fundamentals...the guy has them. His footwork is good offensively, his shot has a consistent form, he runs the floor properly, etc. He might not have advanced handles or an amazing post game, but its both his first season on the perimeter and only his third year overall in the league. He deserves a little lee-way in these respects.

Defensively he needs to improve, but again he was a 3rd year player. And, really, until they get a proper defensive system in place its tough to evaluate anyone on that side of the ball. How much of Beasley's poor positioning was part of Rambis' insistence on overhelping? How much of him getting beat was getting back late to his man because of said overhelping?

I think, at the end of the day, he's ultimately the most important player for the long term prospects of this team. If he can reach his potential he's better than Rubio, if he reaches his, and Love. Hell, if he reaches it he's probably a top 10 scorer in the league. But the crucial thing for him, and the team as a whole, is to get a system and discipline. He needs to know what he has to do to succeed on both ends of the court if he's ever going to get there. Some of that will come with experience, but more of it would come from a proper coach, who'll get him in his comfort zone and branch out from there, not throw him in the deep end and watch him drown like Rambis did with everyone not named Love.
