You have to love threads where just about half the posts are the OP trying to dump on anyone who disagrees with him.

As for "Why not Knight?", I just think there are better options available. I like Knight, I see him becoming a Jason Terry type player (may sound like a knock to someone hyper-sensitive about him, but Terry's been the 2nd best player on a team that won a ring). I wouldn't say he's cat quick, his first step isn't exactly electric, although he's very fast up and down the floor in transition. The only thing that really worries me about him is his tendency to shy away from contact on both sides of the ball.

I think he could work with Rubio, but I'd rather use the #2 on Williams or Valanciunas and wait until #20 to look for a shooting guard. Jimmy Butler would be my preference there.
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''

Knight isn't the answer. Watched him all year. He is a fantastic kid character-wise but he doesn't always make sound decisions on the court, isn't as great an athlete as he has been made out to be. He is a combo-guard like Randy Foye. Not worth the #2.

Brooks and/or Burk are not on this tier and I like Brooks - 3 years up the road. All I'm saying is is that it will be interesting to see how he develops as he grows into a 6'4" - 6'5" frame ... I simply predict he will be a perennial all-star SG within 3 years.

didn't Knight measure out at like 6'1" without shoes? expecting a 19-20 year old to grow 3-4 inches isn't really a very sound draft strat. Guy isn't really much bigger than Ridnour, and I like Ridnours shot better.

I wouldn't even want to see the aftermath if Kahn took another PG, we'd never hear the end of it. That and there are better prospects/needs for us anyway.
