More bizarreness from deal that had Heat reclaiming No. 28 pick to select Cole: The 2014 2nd-rounder sent to Wolves in deal came from Wolves

Via Ira Winderman (heat beat writer) twitter.

So wolves send 28 to MIA for the 2 picks we sent them for Beasley (31 this year, 2014 2nd) and cash. Highway robbery. This is what I was hoping for.

The 2013 2nd we got from the Nyets is the Nets own 2nd rounder.

The heat essentially traded Michael Beasley and cash for Norris Cole.

Rockets trade with Minnesota was amended. Now, never did trade pick 38 and get it back. Also instead of giving up 2-rounder, Rockets get it.

To get 38 back from Minn Rox sent the 31 to 40 part of next season's 2nd-rounder, $1.5 mil. The 41-60 part of pick went to Det for Budinger.

Houston beat writer. It appears in the original deal we sent 38 back to Houston for 1.5 million and Houston's 2012 2nd if it fell between 31-40.

I assume it being amended to us not getting Houston's 2012 2nd and instead SENDING them a future 2nd means that we got even MORE cash from them?

It's a good thing other teams' beat writers can do their freaking jobs unlike Zgoda.
