Thank You for your insight sir, your 7 words have been a great value to this thread

Anyhow as for the rest of you guys and gals, thats just my opinion. Starting Rubio next season would be a mistake imo and it would put too much pressure on him. We have our core, granted we need more role players to compliment the core we have built around but if you gonna build this team, lets do it the right way. If the end result is to win or build a winner, sending either of these guys down to the D-League will not take away from our goals now or long term. They are still gonna develop as players, we need our guys to develop not only Rubio and D-Will but the same can be said about Wes, Beas, AR and even K-Love.

And that "core" won 17 games last season, you don't keep that core. You shake it up. Bringing in Rubio and Williams does that. Rubio and Williams will be playing significant roles at the start of next season (whenever that may be) no matter what.

Minnesota did not shake up their core, they added to it. As for the video, thanks for posting it Klomp.

And Brooksswagg, not quite actually I live in the Empire State.

D-League? Really? That won't happen and it shouldn't happen.

I will put it simply. I am sick of watching the team lose. I want the best players on the team playing and enough screwing around with the roster for trivial reasons.

I agree with throwing them in the fire and letting them gel and develop on the fly...the degree of growth is greater...this is going to be our team...let them ride or die together....they know how to play ball...what are some minor adjustments...the fundamentals of basketball are the same everywhere...run shoot pass dribble...

I agree that the Wolves shouldn't be in such a terrible rush to throw Rubio and Williams to the wolves if you'll pardon the pun. That being said it certainly doesn't require sending them to the NBADL at any point.

It's rather simple and its insane just how many teams and coaches screw up players development by deciding ahead of the season if a prospect will start, come off the bench, or sit and watch like a red shirt freshman.

If the veteran wins the job then the veteran wins the job. If the prospect wins the job then the prospect gets the job. That is how a good coach and franchise makes their roster decision-making work.

The truth is that the Wolves are actually in a good position in regards to the development of Rubio, Randolph and Williams because they should be forced to earn their minutes and jobs over Ridnour, Love, Beasley, Webster and even Tolliver if he's still around.

The insanity of some of the posters on this board talkin about things like trading Kevin Love to make room for the development of Randolph or Williams is just amazing. That some of them have tried to justify it by saying the Wolves need a star is just mind boggling, they wish to trade the first 20/15 guy in forever because they need to find a star? Ironic don't you think?

I even saw someone try and justify that Love needed to go because he only lead them to 17 wins and that he was in the way of Beasley when I suggested Beasley should be traded.....

How is the leagues leading rebounder and an efficient 20 PPG scorer standing in the way of a guy taking 17 in 32 minutes for 19 points and rockin a 28.3 usage rate?

I saw a few people regarding Anthony Randolph as untouchable? Really? If they can find a deal for a piece of the puzzle that costs Beasley, Randolph and filler that falls under the heading of ideal.
