Ridnour, Pek, Ellington, and Hayward, plus the Utah 1st for Okafor

New Orleans only has 5 players under contract, it looks like they may not be able to trade CP3 to get more. We now have 16 players with deals! So we give them a handful of cheap players, and they let go of their second biggest contract... we could add Tolliver in as well if needed.

Just a thought :)

I would change it to the Memphis 1st. The Utah 1st has more value to us then New Orleans sans Paul as there is a pick swap option. Memphis is going to be a top 8 team in the NBA next year, Utah might skirt in as the #8 seed. More likely it drops to top 12 protected, and if it is #10-12 we have the right to swap picks. New Orleans would be in full rebuild mode at that point.

If they trade Paul without trading Ariza or Okafor, then I would probably offer something like:
Darko, Ridnour, Webster, Wes Johnson, and Hayward for Ariza/Okafor. No idea if someone offers more though.

That's overpaying. No way I'm including a 1st in a deal for Okafor.

The Lakers have a TPE (Vujacic) and Ridnour is certainly an upgrade over Blake or Fisher.

quickly looking, vujacic was traded dec 15 last year...so it'll expire in 2 days i think...wouldn't mind taking a 1st rounder and whatever contract from them for luke, that'd be great.
