Backpacks/bags at the target center?

Post#1 » by Calinks » Mon Dec 19, 2011 6:35 am

I might see some games this year in person but whenever I go out using public transportation I have my backpack with me. I'm guessing security might not be cool with people bringing in backpacks, is there any alternative like a storage locker or a place where they will hold my baggage I can drop my bag off at? Leaving it at home would be a pretty big pain in the butt.

Maybe try emailing fansfirst@timberwolves.com and ask them?

And yes, backpacks aren't allowed

Thanks, I'll have to try that or maybe get a man purse...Jack Bauer pulled it off.

A large purse is certainly allowed for a woman, I don't think they would bother a guy with a courier bag. They will glance in it to make sure you are not smuggling pop, that's about it.

He also has a gun. So I think it's required that if you carry a man purse into Target Center, you have to do it with your gun drawn.

few years ago before a game i figured i'd kill 2 birds w/ 1 stone and i bought a shower head downtown @ target for my new apartment before the game and rode my motorcycle and realized too late i had nowhere to store it and had to take my bag with a shower head in it to the game...security didn't really know what to do in that situation so they said verbatim "a shower head...ok"

the moral of the story is if you put a shower head in your bag, they'll let you in
