Don't forget that his NBA comparison was Melo, they both really need the ball and need to fire up shots. With players like that you have to take the good with the bad (Melo, Iverson, Kobe etc)

Well we ain't trading Rubio

Up until today I have been thinking that we need to hold on to Beas because he is a great player to have next to Kevin Love... then I saw what I think could be with Wes/Derrick at the 3. Now I'm just not sure. For me, a big Beasley fan, I think a lot of what I envision about when I predict his future with the team is if he realizes his potential, but there is not guarantee that will happen. I'd hate to see him blow up somewhere else, but if we were to ever start giving his minutes to DWill then we would be hurting his growth anyways. I am starting to really believe holding onto all three of Love, Beas, and Williams isn't going to work. Don't get me wrong, I'd like to have them all, but I'm not sure its even possible.

So you keep the stud and the rookie right? The only way I think we can keep him is if he signs for cheaper than he will probably be worth.

I would sign him for the next 2 or 3 years for a 6th man money (same money or a little more). After the cold start wolves are in good position. He may not ever be constant/eficient or maybe that change with time and we see him floursih in other team. But if he can score in bunches like he did the last year, and im hoping to see this year, he would be a great 6th man in a playoff team.

I would like to rescind his rights and go after Batum with the same money that would have otherwise been reserved for Beasley.

If we rescind Beasley + Randolph, buyout Miller, amnesty Pekovic and trade Luke for cap space, we'd set ourselves up to have over $10-12M to use for free agents. Use that on Batum and J.R. Smith/OJ Mayo.
