Next 5 Games [Games 18-22]

Post#1 » by pumunga » Wed Jan 25, 2012 4:05 am

1/25 @ Mavericks
1/27 vs. Spurs
1/29 vs. Lakers
1/30 @ Rockets
2/1 vs. Pacers

Tuff couple of games, especially going back n forth from Texas.
2-3 with W's on the road.

Sadly, with our current level of health this looks like 1-4 to me.

Agreed. 0-5 even looks possible to me b/c the more games they have to play with little to no bench, the lower the level of play will be b/c Rubio, Love, Ridnour will be playing HEAVY minutes and get worn down.

And there's no telling what affect will take place to Love/the team if they don't get a deal done, if there's any affect at all.

If no Dirk, then we should win that game, healthy or not.

No Dirk doesn't equal a win. Dirk has been playing like crap this season. He was almost non-existent in our first match-up this year. Odom starting presents a different challenge than does Dirk. Mavs have been playing really well for the past two weeks. Marion has been on fire the last few games.

I HOPE we can win (living near Dallas, it's always nice to beat the local team), but it'll be tough.

hmm, this one is tough. We should be getting Webster and Miller back by Friday against the Spurs. Beas and JJ are possible by the Laker game.... I'm thinking 2-3.

0-5 is a very real possibility with our injuries. I think JJ and possibly Beas could miss all five. They've rushed both of them back before and regretted it.

JJ coming from the bench is much needed to help this team.

We need rubio playing 35 minutes max. His performance goes down very fast when tired. Ridnour shouldný play the SG so much as our defense is worse with him there. Wes and Ellington and reliable enough on the SG. The SF needs to go to WIlliams during Beasley´s absence.

Eventhough, we´re quite likely to get a 5-0 or 4-1. Too many injuries.

We couldn't go 5-0 if we were fully healthy.

4-1.

We beat the Mavs.
We always play well against the Spurs. Plus, we will probably get Webster and Miller back this game.
We are at home against the lakers and they are on the second night of a back to back.
Loss against the Rockets
W against the Pacers.

4-1

Can't believe Rubio played 46 or 47 minutes tonight. Unbelievable. Hope he doesn't wear down.

Started this rough stretch off right, though.

What's the word on Ridnour? We need some kind of backup PG. Rubio can't play 46 minutes every night.

The thing with this team right now is that (like the young team they are) you never know what will show up come game time. They could win all of this stretch, or lose 3/4. Personally, I am thinking they'll go 3-2.

Ridnour has a bum knee. It doesn't sound like he will be out long as he tested it during warmups last night.

Need that win tonight. We have to catch the .500 finally.

A win tonight and the future looks bright. A game in NJ, and home games vs Houston and Sac ahead.

Rockets (W), Pacers, Nets, Rockets and Kings

We can dream with a 5 game win streak (14-11) and 8th place :)
