He (& Evans) are holding his man to 0.87 PPP (points per possession). Which is respectable. Rubio's best defensive attribute is man-to-man defense. He's holding his man to 0.61 PPP and creating TOs at 16% rate.

Anyone has an explanation about this assessment?

That would put him, on average, at about the sixth best defender on a given team. Sorry but that just doesn't pass the smell test to me. Anyone who watches the Wolves games can see he is easily the best defender on the team and he impacts the game on both ends. I know Synergy is the leader in stats but something seems dubious. Whatever they are measuring is not capturing his game.

At one of the wolves ticket holder events we went to Brunswick and had unlimited bowling and arcade. The players showed up for an hour and a half or so and Pek spent the whole time playing one of those games with the guns where you shoot aliens for the entire time as fans cycled through the 2nd player spot. The players were supposed to rotate to photo and autograph stations but he didn't. Then when they left Pek was the last one there with a guy trying to drag him away from the game. That's when I knew that nobody tells Pek what to do.

The obvious, 21 shot attempts is ridiculous.
I went and looked at his shot chart, he missed a lot of buckets in the paint last night. To me that's actually encouraging, at least he's not settling for long jumpers. He struggled to score, it happens, of course it's happened a lot to him this year. I guess I'm just glad he was attacking, because most nights NBA players don't miss that many shots in the paint, let alone never get a foul call.
Your thoughts?

He got the ball in the post a lot and missed a lot in there. The problem with him, besides him posting up and not Pek, is that he doesnt go strong. He always seems to try to avoid contact. Be powerful and draw the foul. At least then youll get Fts if you miss the shot
