Re: Twolves vs Knicks, 7pm central (Target Center)
What's up guys. Just a casual fan passing by. Just wanted to say that Rubio is such a talented, aggressive pesky defender. I love his style of play and only see him getting better as time goes by. I see more of Jason Kidd in his game then Steve Nash to be honest.
Pekovic looked beastly out there and the Knicks frontcourt had no answer for him, although I do wonder if he could have kept that up if Amare was in the game. Still though, a nice gritty performance by Pekovic.
Jeremy Lin, as well as the Knicks were clearly fatigued from the Lakers game the night before at the Garden and I'm kind of surprised the Twolves didn't take advantage and close them out for the win. I think the Twolves have one heck of a future so as long as they Keep Rubio and Love, and I'm sure they will gain experience on closing out games as time goes by and not letting leads slip away.

There are two ways to act after this game: Punish yourself and fall down, or learn about it and go harder next time! #staypositive

I'm just throwing this out there, but I was rooting for you guys.
Love is nasty, Pekovic played awesome and despite a rough shooting night, Ricky had some moments for sure. Couple of big turnovers, but it happens. Every time people want to rip on him, just remind them of MJ vs the 95 Magic and Nick Anderson.
You'll see them again. I wouldn't want to be the Knicks then.

Knicks fan, just gotta comment on Pek and Rubio. too awesome players, and I think williams will eventually give you alot more too, especially with Rubio there. BRIGHT future. Minny is def not a game I look forward to on the schedule anymore you guys are a really tough team and your only going to get better. REALLY like rubio you guys have a stud there. Obviously I like Lin, but imo rubio outplayed him last night. And PEK made me furious. Props

Pekovic is awesome? He played good but lets not go overboard here. I'm happy we won but please do not slobber all over opposing teams players. I'm saying would you be saying these kind of things if we loss?
But anyways, I've always been high on Rubio and never understood why he had so many haters before this season. I knew he could play in the NBA when i saw him play in that first pre-season game.

Luke's shooting over the past four games: 2/7, 2/8, 1/8, and 4/12. This slump is killing us. Normally, his good shooting is at least somewhat counteracting his mismatch on the defensive end.
Everyone knows he's not the long term SG solution, but he's at least pass-able when he is shooting 45%+ from the field.

You are wrong,Pek is awesome... 6 double-doubles and 1 reobound shy for another one in 3 games... 27 pts vs Nets,23 vs Kings,21 vs Knicks and multiple 12+games...

Pek is a solid center. He reminds me of a village giants from mid-evil europe. That's probably what his ancestors were. Scary looking dude who gets good post position and gets to the hoop. Rubio is everyone's darling but he really needs to be more careful with the basketball. His jumper is not that much of an issue as he can get where he wants to go on the court at will, even without one. I also wish he would stop flopping and exaggerating any contact but that may just be in the Euro in him.

I don't think Knicks or Wolves fans troll the others forum. I also want to say the Knicks fans who do come here have been pretty positive.

We've got two players in the top 11 for offensive fouls drawn (Barea and Rubio).

Re: Twolves vs Knicks, 7pm central (Target Center)
I kind of agree with Awooga that the whole flopping thing is irritating but that's what works in the NBA. If the refs are going to reward it then a smart player should take advantage of it. I don't particularly like Love's constant whining either but he's leading the league in FTs so it evidently works.
Also, I want to second what others have said about the Knicks fans posting here. Except for the one troll, everyone has been great. Cheers.

Minny my fav team to watch after the Knicks. Enjoy watching Rubio, went to NJ last week to see them beat the Nets. Rubio defended Lin better than anyone Lin has faced so far.
I really like Pekovic's game, not much flash but gets the job done and him and Love are nightmares on the boards for opposing teams. I think your time is a solid SG away from being a scary team. Current squad needs some more experience and you have a really good team going forward. Wouldn't be surprised if you sneak into the playoffs this year.
Hey, let me echo my fellow Knicks fan's comments. I've only seen JookyJam like twice on the Knicks board.
I also lived in Minny for 10 years. Loved it there and fell in love with going to Wolves games at the Target Center. It's been killing me to see the Wolves languish. It looks like they're on the move now, though, and that's great. Rubio is the goods, and so is Kevin Love. IMO, they gotta get rid of Beasley before making progress.
So, for the record, I'm a Knicks fan first and a Wolves fan second. So I'm glad the Knicks won, but the Wolves are gonna make noise. And I'm glad for that. I'm expecting that on the strength of the Rubio and Lin noise that this is going to become a rivalry and that's good for both of us.
Cheers, Dr. SithMirth

Barea exaggerates contact and flops, Rubio takes charges.

Pek was awesome in the game against us, thats fact. He played extremely well. Knicks fans drooled and cried over Mozgov, this guy is better imho. Sure he has flaws, but he had a serious impact on the game. Had we lost knick fans woulda been saying he's another scrub that just had a really good game against us, a lucky night. Easy to say as a Knick fan. All i can do is recognize what he did against us, and based on what i saw he showed some real toughness. I cant be mad at that, and i'd give him props even if we lost the game. In all honesty i expected us to. We lucked into a win imo with Novak hitting that big three and the capitalizing off of some Twolve turnovers. 4th quarter though both teams looked pretty tired. I think we looked a little more tired though and didnt think we had the gas to compete.
