It seems our team was on a roll with Beasley and Barea out and less Darko and more Pek. That's essentially what we need to get back to.

Re: Wolves v Magic, 6:00 PM
Our inability to hit outside shots and our wings gross incompetence is absolutely killing us. If there is one thing Pek has trouble with is dudes poking at the ball. Well, considering that him and Love are pretty much our only offensive threat, they can just double and triple team pek without worry since our outside shoooters just suck
We have no spacing and it is really hurting our inside game due to the defense just having to pack the paint to stop us. The thrid quarter is a prime example because we tried getting the ball to Pek since he is the only guy who can consistently score without help. Well, everyone and their mother also knows this so they just crowded him and caused a ton of TOs
Also, we should rename JJ the human turnover machine. Absolutely ridiculous. I know Rubio had a lot of turnovers as well, but his werent nearly as bad as Barea's because most of Rubio's came when no one could do anything except Pek and Rubio tried to feed him the ball. JJ is just not a good decision maker and plays out of control
Its painfully obvious that we only have 3 good players on this team. You simply can't play 3 on 5 and expect to win many games. Now, it might be okay if the other 2 players were huge defensive stoppers, but they arent. They just suck
Luckily though, none of our players are as bad as Big Baby. Holy crap, that dude is horrific

Re: Wolves v Magic, 6:00 PM
just a **** disgraceful performance...absolute zero effort defensivly, zero shot selection...we looked like don nelson's warriors in a pick up game. the magic were just laughing at us and disrespecting us all game.
so discouraged realising that we have three good players(2 of which from mchale) after having so many opportunities to get players to help through the draft and free agency....pathetic performance.

Re: Wolves v Magic, 6:00 PM
I didn't watch the game. I was covering a girls HS playoff basketball game (I'm sports editor at a newspaper down here).
I DVR'd it and was planning on watching it, but after reading some posts, I don't think I will. I've had a frustrating enough weekend, no point in making things worse watching a crapola performance.
If we lose to the Bobcats, I can't imagine what will happen. Do ya'll think if the losing streak continues for a few more games that Kahn would be more inclined to make a trade? I can't believe how obvious it is that Minnesota needs a new SG.

Barea? he can play for his teamates and open the floor.
Wes? he can play P&R and see up the ball his teammates.
Beasley? he can play P&R too and attract 2 men and pass
DWilliams? he can drive to the basket without collide and fake shoots
Webster? is out of form still but he needs minutes. Shot only when you are open.
Ellington? He is the best outsider. He disappeared.
Randolph? He can contribute energy and strong. He disappeared
Milicic? He can Defence and grab off. rebounds.
All of them are now almost unusefull. Why? the ball, the roles, the plays must flow. This team needs time but there are many work to do.
Sorry for my english. Im glad to see PEK starting center. The same reason we get back Pekovic when he played nothing on December, i hope to see the others, specially Beasley, he must be the sixth man of this team.

Re: Wolves v Magic, 6:00 PM
Anyone else notice how guys like Ellington were playing very well when they didn't have to worry about minutes? Now every wing we have is trying way too hard to prove themselves. I'm hoping Adelman figures it out soon. I mean, many of the suggestions I'm reading that aren't OMG TRADE (insert anyone but our big 3), have been pretty good. I don't see why Adelman:
doesn't surround Rubio with athletic runners.
doesn't shake up the lineup when no one can score.
plays his favorites even when they are vastly under-performing.
refused to let guys out of the doghouse who might bring a spark.
All he's doing is toying with the confidence of players. I know they are professional basketball players and need to be men, but we have a young impressionable team. They are not going to play as well if they keep getting jerked around mentally. I really want someone in the locker room to step up the leadership and start revving guys up, because it's pretty obvious that there isn't enough of that going on.

I think Adelman is still trying to get a feel for how different guys work with each other, like Webster, like Barea not coming off the bench with Rubio, like Beas coming off the bench, etc.
Honestly though, I never expected to be in this game so a loss isn't that surprising.

I'm starting to be tired of "experiments" . I haven't payed the LP and be awake until the early hours of the morning for watch "experiments".
Sorry, this morning I'm a little bit demoralized ...

Barea and his selfishness is killing us.He is good shooting. I don't why he always tries to join at the zone even when there are three rivals in
Beasley doesn't give us something diferent. Always the same plays, never assists even when he is defended by two players.

I think Barea is just trying to do too much. I blame the lack of wings (for Barea and Ridnour). Luke should never be playing SG and JJ is trying to create something out of nothing. The Wolves wing players ladies and gentlemen:
Wes Johnson = PER of 5 (that's right, 5), typical box score of zeroes. He's just not very good.
Wayne Ellington = a deep bench player on any team. When his shot isn't falling, he brings nothing.
Martell Webster = 2, count 'em, 2 back surgeries in 2 years. Will he ever be himself? He does at least try, I'll give him that.
Michael Beasley = Seems to be emotional disengaged this year for whatever reason.
There you have it. A poo poo platter of mediocrity. Seriously, pick any four random scrubs from the league and they wouldn't look any worse.

I think you're being kind when you describe them as mediocre.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Yeah, I was trying not to be too negative plus poo poo platter of poo poo just seemed redundant.

I think Ricky has hit a rookie wall, and the lack of practice time has worked to take all the confidence our young team has in their shot. The team is full of guys who have been known to hit their shots their entire basketball lives, and the fact that all of them have fallen off the face of the earth with their shot HAS to be tied to this seasons lack of practice time.

Ricky looks like he needs a vacation from this mess of a team. The condensed season is destroying him emotionally. He should skip the All-Star festivities, grab his model girlfriend, and spend the last week of February on a beach in the tropics sipping Gatorade. Hopefully he'd come back rejuvenated.

Just got back in town ( I drove up to Orlando for the game).
Terrible performance last night.... What stood out to me most was how Wes was cracking jokes and laughing the whole game
I few times during time outs he was tapping players on the back and turning away like he never touched them
He just really annoyed me...We were getting killed out there and Wes was on the bench like:
... weird dudew man, weird dude
