Ridnour was running in front of Griffin. I think it would've been easier for Griffin to put his hands toward the floor and brace himself, not grab onto Ridnour.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt

I think it'd be best to just drop it. The worst part of the Kevin Love/Louis Scola chest-step was the Houston fans/media/broadcasters losing their minds and crying for suspension and retribution. This happened, it didn't look like it was necessary or involved intent to hurt, general opinion is that Blake's a sensationalizing exhibitionist so let's just move on. We've got a lot better stuff going on.

That's the worst part for me, when the love scola thing happened minny fans argued that love just stumbled and that it looked worse than it actually was, but everybody just brushed that aside and gave love the tag of a bush league face-stomper. When griffin does something similar everyone just brushes it off as reflex.

I agree with them. It's simply a human's natural reaction to grab on to something to stabilize yourself. Pleading that Griffin deserved a tech is ridiculous to me. Sometimes players take nasty falls, but that doesn't mean its intentional.

My take as well.

I agree with this. He was well on his way to falling when he reached out. If you want to not get hurt, your reaction would be to reach for the floor, not reach what seems to be somewhat upwards to "stabilize yourself."

I'd have to disagree with Torcher and Krap on this one, too. It looked pretty deliberate to me. That said, I don't see it as a particularly dirty play, just a flagrant foul/technical type of play.

Was it intentional when Bryant slapped Jaric? It's debatable, but I'm not going to give players the benefit of the doubt when a "reflex" can cause a serious injury. A technical really isn't that bad of a punishment when you see how close Ridnour came to being seriously injured.

It was a bitch move, that's for sure and I wish Griffin had gotten a T for that specific move, instead of the one he got for complaining or whatever it was, but I don't think that warrants a suspension at all. Then again, I didn't think Love's suspension was warranted, either.

Someone want to make a Gamethread for the Blazers game?

This is a BIG game for us.
