Oh, and Beasley was guarding Crapono in the second half. MWP wasnt even in the game when Beasley did his second half stint
okay so 7 points is lighting someone up now? i guess in your point of view, beasley lighted up lakers bench in limited minutes then?
also, the question clearly was why was beasley benched in the 2nd half? he didnt even play bad d in the 2nd half, and no one "lighted' him up in the 2nd half either. mind to finally answer why he was benched in the 2nd half then?
When MWP drops 7 points on you in six minutes, yea, it is. As for why he was benched, Adelman obviously doesnt trust him, and with his lack on focus he exhibits on occasion I cant say i really blame him. Sure, Beasley can score the ball, and do it efficiently on occasion, but you dont want him making some bone-head play or just losing focus and making a mistake during the final minutes of a game. That'll hurt you more than any scoring benefit that Beasley gives you. Plus, when Beasley is in there, our offense just becomes really stagnate since it is all a bunch of iso plays for him. I dont trust that type of offense in the final stretch of the game, especially when its Beasley running that offense.
The better question is why was Wes benched since he was playing fantastic, much better than Beasley, in fact since he was playing very good D and getting his points in the flow of our offense
I dont think Adelman truly trusts Wes either, but then I really dont know what Webster has done to be put in crunch time
