P.S. and lol at a pistons fan stroking his ego here.

Probably because a good centre is MUCH harder to find than a good SF/PF tweener. Monroe has the potential to be an all-star centre.

To me Monroe is more of a PF/C combo than a true center. A guy like Pek is a true center
Beasley turned himself into a SF so why can't Williams?

Williams might turn himself into a SF, but I still know who I'd rather have out of the two.

I'll give myself a year to decide.

I think Derrick's future if he is going to be an allstar is at PF. He has has good handles, but not good enough for a top level SF. As a PF he could be lethal, another K. Love clone offensively. As a SF he is a better shooting/scoring Marvin Williams, and while that may be good enough for Minny with Love and Rubio in tow, he would not reach his full potential.

1). We should trade Derrick Williams for a sweet shooting 2-guard.

2). We should trade Barea/Ridnour for a low turnover point guard to back Rubio up for 10-15 minutes a game.

3). We should trade Beasely for a defensive minded 3.
"That's why the last two years weren't guaranteed," Walsh said. "Either way, he knew it could have happened either way."

Ridnour is good for this team theres no reason to trade him. I only disliked him when he was playing sg alongside Rubio.

Aren't you afraid that he will be doing that next year?

I respectfully disagree. I think the only time he looked good for us was when he was playing as a SG. Kept the ball out of his hands and in Rubios.

Truth is that he has a role as a shooter off the bench. If he is not shooting 50% plus then he is a detriment to the team.
