I still haven't completely given up on Wes' shot but he better come out blazing at the start of the next season. If his shooting numbers are still abysmal by week 3 or 4 at the start of next season, release him from the roster.

It doesn't make sense to release him before the trade deadline. At the very least he could still be an expiring contract useful in trades.
