What's with the Mahinmi fuzz around here? Granted, I didn't watch him outside of the few games Dallas played us but in those he wasn't any better than last season. Of course I'm aware of the fact that this season he had a better statistical output but I'm still not sold. If his asking price is higher than 2 million a year he can take his chances somewhere else.

As I mentioned earlier, Haywood would be the one Maverick I'd try to acquire if he was bought out.

I'd also try to get Asik if I was in charge. Not sure how much he'd ask for but that will most likely exceed MLE type of money.

Did they ever play for their national team? If the answer is yes, reward that man with a contract.

Ideally figure out the guard/forward option first. Check on guys like Asik or Mahinmi, but I expect a pretty expensive bidding war for their services. One day our team will be filled international and Olympic stars. Only than will Kahn be able to rest.

i wonder what it would cost to get jj reddick and the rights to fran vasquez? if we could get iggy also then JJ would be pretty much the perfect 2 guard to play in between ricky and iggy...cross matching on defense with iggy and iggy/ricky on ball - jj off ball offensively. also vasquez, while a bit thin, fits the mold of the kind of bouncy back up center we need who can block some shots, rebound and run the floor. those guys would be a sick, perfect fit and you can never have to much white chocolate on your team
