Some of the posts of you guys seem just like trolling. Yeah, sure, you all know better than Adelman - a HOF coach- whats best for the team. Please people, stop reacting so lame because we lost a game. Blaming the game on Luke or JJ is just plain stupid and it shadows how bad Love is playing in both ends. JJ alone had 8 points, 5 rebounds(and hes a midget) and 10 Assists and that is not bad. Luke was worse, but still not the reason we lost. Try to chill people...once our roster is complete, we'll get better.

Isn't Ridnour-Barea one of the worst backcourts in the NBA? Just because he is a HOF coach doesn't mean he spin straw into gold or that what is obviously wrong isn't the problem simply because Adelman is on the bench.

Yes sir, maybe they are one of the worst backcourt combination in the league, but that was not my point. Sorry if my post was misleading. All Im saying is Adelman is riding with what he has right now...and that may be playing those two guys together. Making die-hard comments of how Shred or Shred-Howard combinations would have worked better (not talking about you necessary), its just unfair to our coach. He's a guy with a long/great winning career, who see/study this players not only in games, but in pratice - and he is more than capable of knowing what his players can bring to the court each night. Again, for me, and maybe Im wrong, Love was the problem. He was the guy forcing the shots. And normally that's fine with me - but it seems like the team was running smoother without Love....or at least more people were getting involve in the offense.

Howard sucks. Shved is a rookie. Lee makes Bruce Bowen look like Kevin Durant on offense.

The only reason you're not bitching about their play, is that they're not playing much.

They can have one hot game, but they are not realistic options in the course of this season.

Wolves need consistent production from their guards and there is nobody who can provide that on the roster.

What I blame Adelman for is giving too much importance to Luke's and JJ's reputation from the seasons behind us (which is actually not that great), instead of dealing with the fact that they are currently in the worst shape and need to be benched in 4th. So what if Shved is a rookie? Lillard is a rookie too, and he's already the 1st star in Portland. Howard doesn't suck, at least not compared to JJ and Luke. Same goes from Lee.

And it's not about me not seeing how equally bad bench is comparing to them. I say that judging from all the games this season. It's just so obvious, you watch the game and you see that, you see it on all the aspects, f.e. in this game Shved following Jack and forcing offensive foul where JJ and Luke would be a meter behind, Lee stealing the ball where Luke would be guarding from distance, Shved hitting a 3 from pass in transition where Luke would barely hit the rim, because he can hit only from the dribble.

Yeah, that's called selective bias. You like Shved, he's a rookie with potential, so you focus on the positives, while glossing over the negatives. Also you may just miss some things, cause you're not over the gametapes 24/7 like Adelman and Co.

Bottom line is, when it comes to rotations, unless it's something completely egregious like Rambis not playing Love, you have to trust the coach, cause:
1) you don't know what happens before and after games (practices, off the court issuies, gameplan, etc).
2) you just dont have the needed level of expertise.

At least come up with some objective data, i.e. advanced stats, if you want to critisize a coach for his rotations. The eye-witness arguments are just noize. I don't even trust myself in the moment when I watch the game for example. I'm a fan, I'm biased from the jump.

Ok, well, I hope Adelman gives a chance to Shved + Lee/Howard in one of the next games in the 4th, so we can see what was the better option. Ofc, that can only be seen vs teams with good backcourt, not vs Sacramento tomorrow.
