MIN GETS: Ben Gordon + POR 1st (Top 12 protected 2013-15, unprotected in 2016)

CHA GETS: Derrick Williams + Brandon Roy

Gordon makes $12.4 mil this year, and $13.2 next year in a player's option that could complicate our 2013 salary structure.

I would like Ben Gordon just for his scoring and because he is probably available for trade. I don't like his salary tho, and few other small thing's hehhe.

If he were expiring I would say throw in Barea and you have a deal. Since he has that huge $ player option for next year, I'd say there is close to zero chance we'd be interested.

I like the idea though shrink. If they used Diop as an expiring maybe it would work better.
The are also owed a 1st by detroit (14-8-1-unprotected) that is a little more appealing. Maybe Williams for Diop + that pick is something they'd be interested in.

Good to see you back Shrink.

For Williams, I definitely want a pick (like the one Shrink suggested) coming back to us. However, I don't think the need for a SG is quite as urgent with the emergence of Shved. In addition, I'd hate to see the Wolves take on an undersized SG with an amazingly brutal contract. No for me.

I'd consider it as long as we could send them some more salary on the books for next year, say Ridenour.

Another idea is to swap Williams for Biyombo. Bust for bust, but maybe a better fit for both teams.

Rather trade Williams & Barea for Redick, I don't care for Gordon.

there's no way; Gordon is playing like a 4 million dollar player and MN has proven they don't value non-lotto 1sts much since they continue to trade them for bottom of the rotation players or else trade out of the slot
