Why should we have to wait? He may have a legitimate excuse, but that doesn't mean he doesn't deserves his fair share of the blame.

Fair enough but Pekovic deserves his fair share of this loss. As does Krilenko, Shved, and Rubio.

Right now Love reminds me of Beasley. If his shot isn't falling he's not doing anything else to impact the game in a positive way. He needs to figure out away to impact the game in other ways if his shot isn't falling. For every rebound + put back he gets on offense, he gives up two lay ups on the other end. If it was just his hand/shooting that was the problem, that would be one thing, but his defensive effort has fallen off and isn't where it was last year. He's had enough time now to round into shape, so I'm not buying any excuses there.

Love played in 3 games of our 4 game winning streak.

Not well. We won despite him in a few of those games. The guy is not playing well and at times not playing hard. Not sure why we need to sugarcoat it.

He hasn't been playing well, but there hasn't been correlation between him playing and the Timberwolves losing. I don't see why we need to make one up.

I agree that those players had bad games as well, but a trend that I am seeing that is concerning is that when Love has a high usage rate, and especially when we run ISO's for Love, everyone else on the team suffers offensively.

It's his conditioning, not his hand.

There's too small of a sample size at this point, but there has been a correlation up to this point as shown in the W-L totals above. Most notably, we beat Orlando without Love -- playing D-Will who helped shut down Big Baby. We lost to them with Love. It's not matter of fact, but it's not to be completely ignored either.

Whatever the statistics say aside, just by my impressions watching the games, it seemed like we were playing better team basketball with more energy when Love was out.

Just noticed this tweetfrom last night:
Jerry Zgoda ‏@JerryZgoda
Orlando doctors were consulting with Pekovic in the training room after the game about what the team called a sore back.

I can't blame our trainers for most of our injuries. Pek's ankle was freak. AK47 has had the back issue. Love was dumb doing knuckle pushups. Bud's knee was freak. Roy and Lee both have knee issues. It must be some bad vodoo on this team though.

I'm guessing this back thing happened when Pek tripped over Big Baby. As far as I know he's playing tonight. Hopefully it doesn't slow him down too much.

The Heat game could either be really good or bad to play Pek in. He should dominate offensively in the post, but he will likely give up a lot of long 2s to Bosh.
