I'd like it if we could get Henderson from the Bobcats. Dude is hard worker, shooting 3's great this year, has always played good D, and is a team player.

Too bad the bobcats don't need a hero baller

Ridnour is too busy dribbling around in open space running out shot-clock

Barea.

I think that Barea is the better option in extended minutes (and the 82games numbers show it as well), but I trust Ridnour more as a 10-15 mpg backup. Luke doesn't have the ability to win us games like Barea occasionally can, but he also won't shoot us out of games with his ridiculous hero ball like Barea often does.

Edit:

Also, Ridnour is the more consistent spot-up shooter, and that's something the team sorely needs right now.

I hate Ridnour, but I'd rather keep him for the team. That being said, if any team is willing to offer us anything decent for either/both of them, I'd jump on it. I don't think the decision to trade one or the other will come down to which one we want to get traded, but rather, which one can get traded.

But Luke sucks too if he doesn't shoot well. Barea will at least confuse both his teammates and the opponents even if he plays bad.

Ridnour is more consistent and a better fit for an offense predicated on ball movement. Barea's been playing very well at times this year, but i don't even see how this is debatable. Considering Adelman sees Ridnour as a starter over Barea, I think he probably prefers Ridnour too.

Yeah, but for which role we do need them, to be a good complement, just the guy who can shot a few times in the game, or the guy who can be the response to a bad day for Ricky? Shved is awesome, but he works sometimes, some others don't, and with Howard and Cunningam (both of them can shot nicely middle range shots and Howard is acceptable in every position, Dante needs to be free of defenders) are, I would say, enough.

So, we're taking Luke because he has a good shot, which is reliable but just that, and sometimes has good moments and accept his role as replacement of Rubio. He defends the same JJ, is older and has less resources in attack. Nice.

Sorry, I don't take it so easy. JJ is a nice player and, if you control him, he can be important. With Budinger, Howard, Cunningam and the consistent shooter/ role player we can get trading Ridnour, I don't see why to pay for a guy who just has a good shot.

And don't has experience in NBA Finals, being so important in them.

I wonder why they brought Barea in last year if they already had Rubio and Ridnour, I guess back then they planned to trade Ridnour cause they probably liked the idea of Barea coming off the bench like he did in Dallas with Kidd and complementing Rubio as his backup. Maybe they changed their minds like alot of you guys. I personally prefer Barea as the backup.. He played pretty good as the backup last couple of game wins we had till he started getting thrown in with Rubio at the same time against Dallas and Orlando, that is when he started playing bad imo. So if he is used as backup and usually not at the same time as Rubio he should be ok i guess..and yes he didn't play great yesterday, but alot of wolves didn't either..

Just another word, sorry: now Rubio is out. I mean, he's in, but he will ned at least one month to be 100%, so for now the rotation must be Ridnour > Rubio > Barea because Luke is less agressive, but when Ricky comes to 35min per game, then Ridnour is the only one, by his characteristics, who doesn't give anything different to the team.

JJ's best play lately is to annoy opposing PG's while placing his face as close as possible to the guy's elbow.

Trade Luke, he's only getting older...
And JJ thinks he's MJ a few times a month, that alone is worth $4 million.

Feliz Navidad JJ :)

It's obvious Rubio isn't really back yet. No need to trade one yet.

The fact that JJ is 28 alone make him more valuable in my eyes.
