I think he will be somewhat similar to Beasley on offense, but has a good chance to be a better defender.

Pet peeve of the night was Benz calling Jarrett Allen "Jared" all night.

Loved to see us close this one out despite some abysmal offense that made it close for no reason.

Saying the Wolves closed out the game is being extremely generous. A more accurate take would be that time ran out before we found a way to lose.

It's weird, the team had great team defense and team offense in the 4th and in the closing minutes, it's like they are wired to make losing plays.

They kept winding down the shot clock which resulted in horrible last second shots, just keep playing basketball

It was bizarre

Logged in specifically to And 1 this. (But I clicked twice and...now I can't?)

Christ....is it wrong for me to want to launch into a full blown rant after a win?

Nance and Drummond had more boards between them than the whole Wolves team.

What part of Rosas' vision had us starting 4 shooting guards and Ed Davis? So stupid. I want off this bus.

Just now watching this game, beautiful move by Anthony Edwards to bully the smaller Darius Garland. His ability to get to the rim and finish will dictate whether or not he ends up living up to his potential, for sure.

Another great drive with 3:30 left in the first quarter.

I think Edwards game was solid. I liked his drives and some of the passes, but I don't buy into his 3point shot yet. He will brick them more often than he makes them. Still encouraging of course.

His moves and quickness are on display on an early drive in that clip. Impressive.

Steph Curry will miss more often than he makes too.

There's a definite wind up to his shot that he needs to address. But beyond that his shot looks good mechanically so there's plenty of hope.

I've been more concerned about his stat stuffing abilities. I have faith that things like his finishing around the rim will come around but he needs to do better than the 1-2 rebounds he was grabbing for a while there. That's why, to me, the 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 stocks were more impressive. If he's going to be the superstar we need him to be he needs to do more than score. Or else he really will be the next Wiggins.

I think that's an accurate assessment. I'm not too concerned about how his offense will develop and believe he will be a guy who can break down a defense to get his own shot or pass for an open look. The more concerning issue is with his rebounding and effort level on defense. He needs to be a 5+ rebound a night guy who also gets a few steals/blocks to make it to the star level.

I've been ok with his effort level defensively. Granted my expectations weren't high but he seems engaged at least trying to stick to his man.
