Since everyone else is piling on, I thought I would join in on the fun.

Russell sucks. He sucks in that his game does not translate to winning and he sucks in that he literally sucks the energy out of the building and all his teammates. He thinks he is slow motion allen iverson. And as awful as his offensive game is to watch, he's the biggest liability we have on defense. I would not hesitate to trade him back to GSW straight up for Wiggins and let them keep the pick. That's how bad we got shafted. And if there is one thing this team needs (other than ridding Russell), it's a capable 3-d large wing to take on Layman and Okogie's minutes. Enter Wiggins who is shooting 37.5% from 3 and who has been one of the better defenders in the league this year, holding opponents to under 40% shooting.

Russell does suck and the wolves gave up (a probable) lottery pick to get DLO to keep Kat happy. Should have just traded kat when he demanded his crappy overpaid friend be traded for.

Worst part is Russell is enjoying every second: when is he going to get another chance to demand the ball every possession in the clutch and shoot every single time not passing the ball once? What other franchise is going to allow it? What other coach?
If he makes the shots and gets the win, HE wins, he's the hero. "GMs, look at me and prepare your cap space for another max contract after this one".
If he misses and the Wolves lose, it has no consequences for him (Saunders and Rosas won't dare), and he just has to come to the press conference and let us know he can't do more with so much youth around.

The team has really bad roster construction and logjams and missing pieces, sure. But there are players that have skills on the team. The spurs had no answer for it for three quarters. Even once game was over the Wolves still led in all categories of measurement besides FT attempts/scored and the final score. This wasn't a typical opponent taking a picnic for three quarters and then finally tries and takes the game in the fourth scenario. Wolves fans have seen that from much better teams plenty of times over the years. This is simply our own coaches taking all the hard work from the first three quarters and ditching it in a hole to completely limit themselves and change everything that got them a hefty lead. We've seen this before too, plenty lately. You call that what you want. I know what I call it.

I think you guys have great pieces on your roster. It's just the set of keys currently in Russell's hands (that he is using to crash the metaphorical car) definitely need to be taken off of him given to Edwards. Keys to the franchise should be with KAT and Edwards, that's it.

The longer Russell is allowed to do his damage, the greater chance it will disenfranchise Edwards. Wolves need to show Edwards from the get go that it is the team for him for many years to come.

Wolves are one of my fav teams behind my beloved Raps, so I'm cheering for the right decisions to be made.

You'll have a hard time convincing me keys should be in the hands of a nineteen year old claiming A1D1 and how this is "easy" while tossing up total bricks. We already got a taste of letting him drive and he's not ready for that. After a short dip adjusting to his role he has been recently shooting back up with more confident play again, this time showing some great footwork leading to the rim, a soft touch around that rim at times...still working on that, and a powerful ability to finish above the rim when he chooses to. Oh, and he's taking much less garbage twos and contested threes, shooting more off the pass and cleaner. I think he's settling in better with a role that will help him to continue to climb. But I do agree that having him on the court just to watch late game failings of others is also not a great use of his talents as in this last game. The future isn't already his, but sure could be one day. He's not being stashed, he's out there for high minutes and getting better.

Wolves seem to be keeping themselves from repeating the Wiggins mistakes (aside from an early season blip) and it's one of the few things I'm glad they are showing restraint in. Rolling out red carpet futures and handing out keys to rookie high picks just doesn't work for every player imo. I keep an eye on the Raps at times as I like how they do things.

Some of the takes are just ridiculous. This hero ball mode is by concept, its 100% on the coach. Stop complaining about officials ffs, you're embarrassing yourselves if you dont see that regardless of officials this is never, never, never ever going to be a sustainable winning approach. Saunders basically picked a guy to be his hero, if it wasnt DLo he'd pick somoene else to carry the responsibility and get roasted when failing. Coward coach, failed under pressure, froze and didnt stop the run and had the audacity to pull a Pop move on Pop (with the hack a shaq idea). Pop chuckled and took Poeltl out of the game and continued to crush Saunders.

DLo is overpaid and average, dunno how people see an all star in him. He is a shiny piece in a losing team classical fools gold. But that isnt the reason for the meltdowns. Ryan Saunders must go, he is beyond hope. He needs to re-learn the concepts and ideas of basketball and coaching before trying to get a HC job in the NBA. Lets be honest theres only one reason he has this job and that is not a good point to start from. If i was in his place i would step down out of respect for his father.

Nah, I think it's the opposite. DLo doesn't do anything on timing; he walks past his man at his own pace and might spend anywhere from 2 to 45 dribbles doing it. You can't try to time anything up with his creation. Everyone has to stand and watch him. The defense also watches him too so you can make the occasional sneaky impromptu cut and there's a decent chance DLo will hit you with a fancy pass.

I watched 3 quarters and then had to go pick my kid up from practice. I can only assume we won the game. Good game with good effort and energy.

Watched the Nuggets last night and I'm so jealous of that team. Looking back at 2018 when we beat them to get in the playoffs who would've thought we'd be where we are now. They still have 4 of their 5 starters from that game and we have 1 (0 really because Towns has been out). Granted the Jimmy Fiasco plays a huge part in our current standing but I truly thought we'd be the better team by now.

I really like Malone, Jokic and Murray. I had some hope that when Dlo came here him and Kat could run a 2 man show and compliment each other like that. Even though they've only played like 6 games together Im sure that won't happen. Also, I think Murray plays better cause he has a great backup in Monte who Malone will turn to if Murray gets out of line. Dlo doesn't have that in Rubio, he had it in LA and BKN. Jamychal and Milsap choosing Denver over us made me take a harder look at Nuggets and ourselves.
