So you don't think 21, 9, 6, and 2 is a decent night?

J Mac went 0 pts, 1 reb, 4 ast in 20 min. Why don't you bitch about that one?

This is the problem. I hope the coachs staff and Edwards doesn't feel the same way by just looking at that numbers and say, that was a good night. But i doubt...

And is not only a game. Is a huge sequence of inefficient nights.

The guy is 19 years old, playing against men, the best in the world with limited practice, no summer league, etc. He's a couple of months into this and you expect him to be a finished product.

Okay but don't try to argue that he was good tonight. He's good some nights but this wasn't one of them.

That’s fair. That said, maybe don’t take 20 shots and refuse to move the ball half the time you get it.

No i don't. But i also don't expect or hope for him to get into the lockeroom thinking he had a good game because the stats say 21-9-6 on a high usage play while being inefficient once again.
Look at the other rookies man. If we don't held accountable this young guys for the really consistent poor play how they are going to learn?

Without looking at advanced stats, I’m assuming Ant has been one of the most negative players in the league so far. Doesn’t mean he can’t be good, just is not a good sign.

You look at players like Ball and Williams, who are younger than Edwards, just showing they know how to play basketball. Any has grown up playing one on one, he has no clue how to play off the ball or in a team concept.

My problem isn’t with Edwards btw. It’s with Rosas, who I think is pretty awful at his job.

yes and I agree with someone's response

Some coach needed to be saying that to Wiggins 7 years ago and every year since. Hopefully he stays on Ant with that. His young years should be loaded with that. As he refines his shot selection, consistency and game awareness/bbiq he can also become a bigtime outside shooter with time. Focus right now on destroying that rim more. Stick with wide open 3s off the pass for now with no hesitation. He's really good at those.

That's where I'm starting to get at too. I still think Rosas is up in the air for me but I look at Edwards and I'm like, "What did you and your staff see in him that you didn't see in Lamello or Wiseman?" Edwards needs a lot of work and in the somewhat likely event he isn't able to dramatically improve into a star, that's a huge miss. Same with Culver who I think was a poor pick.

I went from loving Rosas and believing we got the smartest guy in the room to now legitimately worrying we got David Kahn 2.0 and that's scary. You can survive a couple of bad coaches but if we got a couple of back-to-back bad GM's, we are crippled for years.

RAPM currently has him as 437th out of 483. That's 3rd worst on the team (Naz 462, DLo 483)

Man, Minny commentators only bring intensity if Ant make a dunk or something. With the 3 FTs to tie the game they were talking for 3 straight minutes that that wasn't a shooting foul. I mean...come on! Even if that's true, the game is on the line.

Others may not agree, but I'd rather take our chances on keeping a top-3 pick than win a few more games. This draft class was considered much better than last year's, and the prospects seem to be living up to it.

The only way to improve this capped-out roster is by adding talent through the draft or trading. But what sort of player are you expecting in exchange for the likes of Rubio, Okogie, Culver, Hernangomez and Davis?

Problem is, 2 of them are PGs in the top 3 so far. We invested a lot in DLO. Now Kuminga? I dont know much about him. Would you draft him number one?

Let's assume Russell finishes the season as he started. At that point, you have to consider him a sunk cost. It would be time to look to the future and draft Cunningham. Second, I would select Mobley despite Towns reiterating his loyalty to the franchise. Should the team receive the third overall pick, that's where you can discuss the likes of Suggs, Kuminga and others.

For me, id take cunningham. He is 6-8 220 PG and it should work with DLO playing SG on offense and PG on def depending on matchups. Id mKe Malik a 6th man.

Getting the number one would mean we can trade back for a quality vet and pick for fit later in the draft.

You don't trade back in a draft like this.

The odds are not in the team's favor, but with how they are playing, it will become a bigger topic as the season draws to an end.
