Best case we can use him as filler in a trade at the deadline either target a player we might actually want or something to get us draft capital, preferably both, lol. Otherwise, he might help a little...or not. And the most valuable thing he brings was he opened up a roster spot.
I see more value in that he brings toughness. Outside of Taj, Butler, and KG haven’t had that in the Towns era. League isn’t going back to the bully-ball days of old, but physical and mental toughness is something we’ve been lacking
100% this. Every good nba team has some tough guys. Wolves had none forever. Then Thibs brought in a few and tried to draft one (shoot and miss) and suddenly we were back in the playoffs. Those guys left and back to irrelevance we went.
100% for me too. I think Beas has it and PB, funny how Rossas would give them both away for yet another weak minded player.

Makes sense. Next year is a team option and Griz have too many players. If we are desperate what are the rules of re-signing him?

Not having stopped him playing in the Olympics

Let me rephrase, if we are both desperate and people realize just how far he has fallen from his peak of poor defender, rebounder, inside shooter, and barely above average three point shooter, what are the rules for us to put him at the end of our bench.

I believe it's one year from the date he was traded. Very unlikely he ever plays for the Wolves again though

I could see Juancho going overseas as his NBA career flames out.
Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
