I have a hard time seeing how the Wolves met every priority this off-season. Earlier in the off-season, both Rosas and Finch made it pretty clear that the team needed to upgrade the big rotation and I'm just seeing not how the current roster accomplishes that.

Because they already have Simmons in the bank. Just not going public with it.

That’s how things seem to go sometimes … Aside from the Simmons stuff, I do wonder what the internal feelings are on more KAT/Reid combo.

In an ideal world, they would have loved to do that. But as he said, they had limited bullets. There were no realistic FA options, and to get a PF upgrade you'd like, you'd have to dismantle your core which they didn't want to do unless it was for a clear upgrade.
Offseason priorities:
Shooting. Beverley and Prince are very good.
Defense. Beverley is one of the best in the league.
Complementing the stars. Check.
Retain own free agents. Yup.
