Well, that was... disappointing.

If DLo or Beaz (or Ant, although he's playing busted so gets somewhat of a reprieve) hit close to something that even resembles a decent %, we win this.

There were a LOT of blown open shots.

If ant is injured why in the name of Finch would he play him 32 minutes as he shoots 0-8? Disturbing is the nicest word I can come up with …

Beasley was 2 of 11 and 2 of 10 from 3. Nowell was 0 for 1 but the miss was a block on a decent attack. Why in the name of Finch is Beasley getting priority over Nowell. My best guess is we are trying to depress Nowell’s numbers and make it seem like there is something wrong with him. If successful maybe we sign him cheaper as an RFA. Outside of that it is beef between Nowell and Finch and the result is Beasley giving us one or two hot games followed by a half dozen cold games.

Ant should have been benched in the second half, but no one was playing well to replace him. KAT also got hurt and Dlo is having a bad night, Finch probably felt like his hand was forced. Remember, this was a big game and even bigger loss. We are now 2.5 back of Denver with only 23 left for us.

I assume it was to keep your future superstar happy. It seems to be important to Ant (and KAT, but not DLo) to not miss games.

I imagine Finch asked Ant, “how are you feeling?” and the 20 year old Ant told him, “I’m ready to go!” I know Towns took great pride in the fact that he played all 82 games for his first three seasons, and it sounds like Ant has adopted this goal as well.
