Once he got going. Same with Ant. Before that both really hurt.

For sure, even when he is shooting poorly, the space he gives the rest of the team is incredibly important to what Minnesota does.

Few games back, one of the Wolves announcers mentioned about Ant needing to develop an intermediate game other than just driving and shooting 3's and I kinda agree. He has also made some strides in playmaking this season but still he needs to be more decisive and quick in his passing.

Yeah, this has become apparent to me too.

I'll freely admit I was in the "move Beasley" camp earlier in the season but I know now we can't. He's way too important.

Which unfortunately means I'd be looking to move Nowell (I know this is off topic but bear with me). I've thought it's one or the other with them for a while and I do love Nowell, but it just makes sense to get something for him if he's going to be buried. And it's better for him too from a career standpoint.

After all off court issues Beasley has been finally having the best stretch of hot shooting games in his career. Not only this, he is in a great physical shape running in transition, even dunking. He is playing active defense. I would say that this type of performance is what makes him a positive players based on contract/impact metric.

It is a bit tricky to compare Nowell to Beasley because it mostly depends on Nowell next contract and possible improvement as defender, decision maker. I can see other teams invest in Nowell offering him 12-15 mil per year, multi-year deal. In right situation he can outperform this contract. However, with Beasleyat SG and no good defenders at PoA in MIN, I don't see Gupta offering him more than 10 mil, unless we are able to trade Beasley for FRP or solid PF.
